London Rail

Overview

London Rail was established in 2003 to focus on raising the standards of London’s railways and develop a more integrated approach between modes.

Consisting of London Overground, Docklands Light Railway (DLR), Tramlink and the future Crossrail programme, London Rail has seen the most recent transport developments in England and some of the most exciting transport design in recent times.

Many of the design features and characteristics are transferable from London Underground, however, each of the London Rail modes have their own distinct identity.

Click the modal links below to find out more, including the station types and design elements associated with each of the four modes.
